Belle Âme feels like a completely fresh take on wellness. Where did the idea first come from, and what made you think, “this doesn’t exist, but it should”?

EMF exposure felt like a very modern concern, but the products surrounding it had never caught up with the way people actually live or express themselves. Nothing felt chic, beautifully designed, or exciting to have on your phone. Belle Âme was created to change that by bringing style and personality to EMF protection and making wellness feel completely at home in the world of beauty and fashion.

Wellness can sometimes take itself very seriously. Belle Âme manages to feel both meaningful and aesthetically beautiful. How important was it for you to create something people genuinely wanted to use?

It was everything to us. Wellness should feel uplifting and easy to bring into your everyday life. We wanted to create something that people adored for the way it looked, while also loving the intention behind it. Belle Âme feels more like an accessory than a traditional wellness product.

The evil eye is one of the most enduring symbols in the world. What made you want to reinterpret it for a modern wellness audience?

We have always loved the evil eye because it is beautiful, iconic, and universally connected to protection. It felt like the perfect symbol to bring into the modern world and place on something we carry everywhere. It adds a little meaning, personality, and positive energy to your phone.

Copper has been used in wellbeing practices for centuries, but you’ve introduced it in a completely unexpected way. What sparked the idea behind the stickers?

Copper is one of the most conductive materials on the planet and is widely used for the way it interacts with electromagnetic energy. It is natural, timeless, and comes directly from the earth. We found a way to transform it into something beautiful and easy to wear every day, while looking out for your well-being.

Belle Âme was designed to live at the intersection of beauty and wellness. Our intention was to create something that feels elevated yet playful, like a tiny piece of jewelry for your phone. It has meaning and purpose behind it, while still feeling cute, fun, and effortlessly aesthetic.

What has surprised you most since launching Belle Âme? Have there been any reactions, stories or moments that made you realise you were onto something special?

The community has been the most special part. We always had a vision for what Belle Âme could become and the kind of culture we wanted to create, but watching our incredible customers naturally gravitate toward the brand, the aesthetic, and the energy has been amazing. Seeing people connect with Belle Âme and make it part of their everyday lives has made us feel like we are building something much bigger than a product.

It is a perfect summer afternoon in the South of France. Three Belle Âme MYK emblems are scattered across the back of her iPhone while she enjoys a cold glass of rosé, a long lunch and good company before taking a dip in the sea. Inside her rainbow crochet Miu Miu beach bag are sunglasses, SPF, lip oil, a book she may or may not read, a disposable camera and a hair clip. Salty hair, sun kissed skin and nowhere else to be.
